The Story Spark Process – The Story Spark process grows out of a meld of ancient mythology and neurobiology to explain and teach all the emotional intelligence skills behind communication. There has been technology around inciting action through telling a good story since the beginning of recorded history. In fact, we as humans are storytelling creatures in our brains and our societies. The ability to tap into that wisdom resides in each and every one of us. We just need to learn or re-learn how to find our story, the sweet spot in connection, and then drive action from it. The Story Spark process can be used as a stand-alone two day workshop or can be tailored to meet the needs of leadership development, employee engagement, organizational change, sales and marketing, or any other ongoing program or process.

The (Business) Writer’s Workshop – based on the system created to train the top creative writing graduate students in the country streamlined to train for business communication. Being able to use the right voice, style, and diction for the situation as well as a mastery of grammar and writing conventions can be learned. Then there are the details: organizing your ideas, communicating them concisely, and being clear in your writing. Along with storytelling, mastery over communications skills and strategy can make you more effective in whatever you do.

We Are The Stories We Tell – Trains individuals and teams on the essential presentation skills necessary for any story. This is a spoken rather than written workshop in which you learn to be comfortable and effective speaking in front of any audience. You learn how to structure talks based on the most recent theories on engagement and public speaking. You also develop the skills to make any talk into a compelling narrative that will grab your listeners’ attention and hold them there.

Mindfulness and Meaning – Storytellers need listeners and vice versa. This workshop builds the interpersonal skills to change how individuals, teams, and whole organizations function. We focus on three skills: conversations, emotional intelligence, and story. At the end of the workshop participants will have the knowledge and skillfulness to connect through conversation.
